JUSTICE FOR ART STUDENTS! 💪💪

I have faced mental anguish from individuals who belittle art students while elevating those in law. We are often labelled as "olodos," or unintelligent, simply because we pursue art. I used to feel ashamed for people who chose to study mass communication, thinking it was a common path for less intelligent students.

However, today, I am filled with joy studying this course. I owe it all to my father for encouraging me to pursue it. Attending classes made me realize the depth and breadth of this field beyond just journalism. Even back in secondary school, my teachers recognized my speaking abilities and suggested a career in reporting or journalism.

Why is there a perception that art students lack intelligence, while science students are praised for their critical thinking skills? Why aren't science students judged for not thinking like William Shakespeare, as they are for not thinking like Galileo Galilei?

I write to communicate messages and emotions effectively. My abilities should not be underestimated.

Writing allows me to explore my innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe and private space. It serves as a form of therapy for me, helping me to process and make sense of my emotions. Cats, with their mysterious and independent nature, provide me with a sense of companionship and understanding that I may not always find in human relationships. They offer me a sense of calm and contentment that is hard to put into words. Through writing, I am able to connect with myself on a deeper level and find a sense of peace and clarity that is often elusive in the chaos of everyday life. I am grateful for the solace and comfort that writing and my feline friends bring me, and I hope to continue to nurture these sources of security and joy in my life.
